My overall thought about this article is that we, as leaders, must be sure that we are seeking God and His will for His people in our times of corporate worship. It really doesn't matter what things we do or don't do, Ps. 127:1 clearly states that unless God doesn't show up, it's all for nothing.
Frank Darabont's 2001 film, The Majestic, stars Jim Carrey and follows his character, Peter Appleton, a blacklisted Hollywood screenwriter in the early 1950s. He gets into a car accident, loses his memory and stumbles across a small town where he is mistakenly identified as a long-lost war hero. If you like The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, you may like this installment from Darabont. Check out the trailer.

Sometimes I think that we don’t realize the impact the last 5 minutes of the Sunday service has on the congregation. I think that James MacDonald from Harvest Bible Chapel describes it well in the video included from his blog. Whether it is a song, prayer or even an exhortation, we must realize that the message [...]

What I am talking about is that generally on Sunday mornings at church we have a time of corporate worship with music before the Pastor comes out and preaches. Is this [...]
