I just recently downloaded and listened to Phil Wickham’s new album, Singalong. It is a live concert album that he is giving away for free on his website.
Here is an exerpt from Phil.
“This has been a long process but I am super excited for you all to hear it. This record has been something that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally on May 9th this year [2008], I was able to do a show in Portland, Oregon with just me and a guitar and record it. The album artwork is simply the faces that were sent in to my blog from people that either attended the show or watched the show as it was broadcast on my blog. Thank you all for being a part of it.”
This album is great blend of Phil and a large group of worshipers giving praise to God. I really enjoyed hearing some of my Phil favorites in this style. It has a very nice laid back feel that reveals a whole new facet to his music.
